Tried their revamped cafe for the first time and it is very smart perhaps a little clinical some colour would help … great offerings fabulous sandwich a cakes great coffee let down by staff chatting amongst themselves whilst serving !
Recently refurbished food hall. Now larger with a wide selection of products. Instore bakery, large wines and spirit department. Plenty of tills, both staffed and self service. Well worth a visit if you haven't been for a while.
Well, here’s the thing, my husband and I have just been to M&S in Pudsey and what an experience it was. Talk about an attentive and exceptional service. I’m on crutches temporarily, due to an injury, and I really needed a wheelchair, but there weren’t any, so so sat waiting for a while. One guy went round the shop looking everywhere for one and came back and said, they’ve all been taken, so he got me a chair and said it shouldn’t be long before one turns up. The guy on the door kept asking the staff, through his headset, if anyone sees an empty wheelchair, I was waiting. Then I said I’d go down in the loft and get a coffee while we were waiting. He said he’s told the rest of the staff that I was first in line. We’d just finished in the cafe and was looking Around, when the first guy came up to me with a wheelchair. He’d literally come to find me. Such a good example of going out of your way to help someone. The cafe staff were all brilliant too. Well done to all the staff that helped us today. What a truly wonderful experience xxx 💕
Wow massive marks and sparks. Didn't realise it was this big . Cafe very busy at 12pm on Saturday. Go a little later 12.45pm much quiter. Food, clothing, homeware, cafe, good parking on the flat with lifts in store.
Has to be 5stars for me .!! There are at least 2main entrances from the car park into this store . Both of them are easily accessed from a number of disabled bays in the section of car park you find yourself ! The main doors slide open as you approach and then inside there is a second set of sliding doors leading onto the shop floor . The store is signposted throughout and the food part of the store itself is in a section of the main store. So you can shop without having to leave the store at all. The store is well laid out and has ample room for wheelchairs. There is also a cafe which was quite busy !! Access to downstairs is by escalator or a choice of two lifts . The toilets are down here too and there is lots of space . I didn’t have time to finish the lower ground floor so will post that later
