<p>Premier Work Support are excited to be recruiting for a temporary <strong>Catering Supervisor </strong>for a prestigious educational establishment in North Yorkshire. </p> <p>We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Catering Supervisor to join our clients culinary team on a temporary basis. The ideal candidate will play a key role in providing high levels of service while ensuring a positive dining experience for the students and staff. Please note there is an opportunity for permanent employment for the right person. </p> <p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Prepare and cook a variety of nutritious meals using fresh ingredients, adhering to dietary guidelines and health standards.</li><li>Manage the kitchen and supervise kitchen staff as needed, ensuring efficient work flow and teamwork.</li><li>Oversee time sheets and schedules for kitchen staff, ensuring proper coverage and support.</li><li>Monitor stock control, including inventory management and ordering of supplies to maintain optimal levels.</li><li>Carry out regular performance reviews of team implementing development plans.</li><li>Collaborate with the Catering Manager to plan menus and implement catering events.</li><li>Liaise with other departments and managers to ensure smooth operations and address any concerns.</li><li>Supervise the catering team.</li><li>Maintain a clean and organised kitchen environment, following food safety protocols.</li><li>Perform other duties as required to support the overall operation of the kitchen.</li></ul> <p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p> <ul> <li>NVQ Level 2 in Catering &amp; Hospitality.</li><li>Food Hygiene Level 3 certification.</li><li>Food allergen training.</li><li>Proven experience in a culinary role, preferably in a school or large-scale catering environment.</li><li>Strong understanding of allergies and dietary needs is beneficial.</li><li>Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.</li><li>Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.</li><li>Enhanced DBS check required. </li></ul> <p>Hours of work are Monday to Friday (term time only), 7:00am to 2:00pm with a 30 minute unpaid lunch break. </p> <p><em><strong>If this is the role for you, please apply with your CV today! </strong> </em></p>
