<strong>Multi-Skilled Engineer</strong> <p>Harrogate</p> <p>&#163;55,000 DOE</p> <p>Days/Nights Rotation Available | Progression Opportunities</p> <p>An excellent opportunity has become available for a Multi-Skilled Engineer to join a growing and well-established manufacturing business based in the Harrogate area.</p> <p>This role is ideal for an engineer who enjoys working in a fast-paced production environment and wants to be part of a business that values reliability, continuous improvement, and long-term development.</p> <strong>What’s on Offer?</strong> <ul> <li>Salary up to &#163;55,000 depending on experience</li><li>Long-term progression opportunities</li><li>Stable and growing business</li><li>Supportive engineering and leadership team</li><li>Opportunity to contribute to site improvements and projects</li></ul> <strong>The Role</strong> <p>As a Multi-Skilled Engineer, you’ll play a key role in maintaining and improving production machinery, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum efficiency across the site.</p> <p>Key responsibilities include:</p> <ul> <li>Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance across the site</li><li>Fault finding on both electrical and mechanical systems</li><li>Working on production and manufacturing machinery</li><li>Supporting continuous improvement and reliability projects</li><li>Diagnosing and resolving PLC faults</li><li>Minimising downtime and ensuring production targets are met</li><li>Maintaining high health &amp; safety standards at all times</li></ul> <strong>About You</strong> <p>We’re looking for a proactive engineer with a strong maintenance background and excellent fault-finding ability.</p> <strong>Essential Skills &amp; Experience:</strong> <ul> <li>Multi-skilled engineering experience within manufacturing or production</li><li>Strong electrical and mechanical knowledge</li><li>PLC fault finding and troubleshooting experience</li><li>Experience working in a fast-paced production environment</li><li>Ability to work independently and as part of a team</li><li>Strong problem-solving and communication skills</li></ul> <strong>Desirable:</strong> <ul> <li>Food &amp; Drink manufacturing experience</li><li>Engineering qualifications/apprenticeship</li></ul> <p>If you’re a driven Multi-Skilled Engineer looking for your next challenge within a forward-thinking manufacturing environment, we’d love to hear from you.</p>
