Infrastructure Engineer

Infrastructure Engineer I Tadcaster I | Hybrid I £50,000 (DOE) My client is looking for a hands-on Infrastructure Engineer where you'll support and strengthen a modern Microsoft-based environment across Azure, Microsoft 365, identity, networking, and security. You'll balance day-to-day operational support with high-impact project work, acting as a trusted escalation point and helping to continuously improve their infrastructure, automation, and security posture. What you'll be doing Supporting and maintaining secure, stable Azure and on-prem infrastructure. Owning cloud, identity, (Intune, GPO, conditional access, etc.). Monitoring systems using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Microsoft security tools. Supporting device management, authentication, and access controls across the business. Supporting cloud migrations, optimisation, and security hardening initiatives. What we're looking for Strong experience in Azure and Microsoft 365 environments. Solid understanding of identity and access management (Entra ID / Azure AD). Confidence troubleshooting complex infrastructure and cloud issues. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. A collaborative mindset and strong communication skills. Desirable SQL experience VMware experience Hypervisor experience.
